My name is Joseph Squillaro and I am the Chief Financial Officer for Eat Clean Bro. Growing up in Staten Island, I got my start in the food and beverage industry at the age of 21. After some time, I was able to work my way through the different positions and discovered a love for bartending and developed my passion for mixology. At 27, I moved to Freehold, New Jersey and began working in a restaurant located in a resort area on the shore. I was able to broaden my knowledge and capabilities in all aspects of the restaurant including front and back of house management.
In 2012 I opened my first of three restaurants in Pier Village in Long Branch, NJ. Over the course of 3 years my restaurants were profitable and received very high reviews and accolades. In 2015 I sold my shares of the restaurants and was able to try my hand in the hospitality industry. I joined the London NYC in senior management and it was during my time there that I learned first- hand the high standards of guest service within a luxury facet. I was trained to coordinate high profile events for the media, celebrities and New York’s elite.
I was then recruited by the LOEWS NYC to help grow the food and beverage department. We successfully increased profit and cut costs to make the program successful. My career was demanding and took up a lot of my spare time, so I began ordering meals through EAT CLEAN BRO to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I had known Jamie for a few years at that point and I admired everything he had built for EAT CLEAN BRO. I was fortunate in that timing was everything and Jamie offered me a chance to join ECB. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, my three Siberian Huskies and staying active working out.
