Going into the 2019 holiday season, New Jersey based meal prep company Eat Clean Bro was looking for a fun way to give back to the local community. Upon hearing about Allaire Community Farm, the perfect partnership was formed.
Allaire Community Farm is a 501(c)(3) NJ Non-Profit with a mission of rescuing animals and assisting people of all ages. “Our focus population is special needs individuals, “at risk” teens and local families battling cancer in our community. We offer PreEmployment Education Programs for the aged out special needs populations. These programs will hopefully lead to meaningful and purposeful employment for these young adults. We also offer equine and animal therapy for those in the community with special needs, anxiety, depression and PTSD. Lastly, we started a new initiative to bring together urban and suburban students to learn the importance of healthy eating and organic gardening practices.” JoAnn & Sean Burney, Founders of Allaire Community Farm.
Thanksgiving is a tough time for not only turkeys, but many families in need, Eat Clean Bro hits the ground running this time of year to give back any way that they can. This year part of that giving came in the form of Tofu the turkey. Tofu was at risk of ending up on a dining room table until Eat Clean Bro Founder and President Jamie Giovinazzo and the Eat Clean Bro team stepped in and pardoned him. Tofu is now set to live a long and happy life at Allaire Community Farm where he can not only be a happy turkey but join the other animals in changing the lives of everyone that visits Allaire Community Farm.
