Why moms are ordering pre-cooked food online and you should too!
Anyone else struggling to think of things to cook for dinner? It’s literally a never-ending battle – what should I cook tonight? Ugh, there’s nothing in my fridge or pantry. I guess it’s the same thing we had last night…again. And then there’s the moment where it all comes full circle and you literally serve yourself the leftover Mac n Cheese you made for your kids a few days ago. It is, what it is.
While meal-prep and planning ahead sounds like a good idea – actually making this happen can be a chore in itself. I’m all about making things easier and utilizing tools that will help you stay on track with your health goals or feeding your family nutritious meals. That’s why I decided to start ordering pre-cooked a la carte meal components, and already prepared meals and snacks online.
Cooking During a Pandemic… With Kids
Remember at the beginning of the pandemic, when we were all getting creative and making meals out of random foods we’d never have used in the past? Fast-forward a year later and the imagination used to come up with those meals is just not there anymore. It’s not easy to feed yourself right now, let alone a family. It’s absolutely OK to serve the same foods frequently, and that’s been my go-to for quite some time now. But seriously, I’m ready for something new. And the thought of someone else cooking for me is becoming more enticing by the minute. Since I can’t afford a chef, I got the next best thing – a meal delivery service! Here’s what’s so easy about ordering Eat Clean Bro meals online:
Takes the Guesswork Out of Meal-Planning and Meal-Prep
You’ve probably already got a to-do list that fills up the rest of the month and then some. The amount of time required to tackle everyday tasks is exhausting. And then, who wants to sit down and figure out what they’re going to make for dinner. Since the foods come already cooked and even prepared, dinner can literally be ready in minutes. Meal delivery services take the guesswork out of meal planning and meal-prep saving time in the planning phase, the shopping phase, the chopping, prepping, and cooking phases. All that’s left is sitting down and enjoying a fresh cooked meal with your family. Plus, it’s a great way to try some new dishes, especially if you’re not the best cook. Ordering meal delivery means you can eat delicious food any time you want without having to dine out (or become a chef) to do so.
The Convenience Factor – Time Saving
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been using grocery delivery since before the pandemic. So when things got hairy and you didn’t know if you’d end up bringing home more than the groceries, I was beyond happy for my existing membership. But now that I’m used to outsourcing my grocery shopping, why not add meal prep to the list. If I can save time by having major meal components or even entire meals literally shipped quickly to my front door, then sign me up – fast.
Ordering meals and meal components (like pre-cooked chicken breast, steak, potatoes, rice, veggies, and even sauces) online only to find them on my kitchen table the literal next day is a huge time-saver and convenience I’m not ready to live without. Plus, it then frees up more time to focus on work or family life.
On top of that, when you do have to trek out to the supermarket, your trips will be shorter because you’ll need fewer items. You can be in-and-out with just a few things on your list and a much shorter bill, vs. stocking up on big-ticket items like meat and produce.
Nutritious Foods You Can Feel Good About Serving
It’s easy to fall back on takeout, especially when you just don’t know what to cook and you need something to eat stat. Problem is, your local takeout spots probably aren’t catering to your health conscious needs. We already know that eating at home generally equates to more nutritious meals in proper portion sizes. But since cooking is more like a chore these days, meal prep delivery is the best of both worlds – foods delivered fast, and they’re far more nutritious [than takeout] and taste good too. A meal delivery service could be the answer for someone who is committed to losing weight or making lifestyle changes but doesn’t necessarily have the time or drive to prepare foods.
It's Easy Bro! There’s No Contracts or Obligations!
There’s nothing worse than finding a service you’re excited about only to find out you have to sign a contract or commit to a certain number of purchases. Eat Clean Bro’s meals require none of that. Literally log on, pick your meals or foods from the a la carte menu, plug in your shipping information payment, and you’re done. Meals will show up within 24 hours – and if you don’t like the food or don’t find the services useful, you never have to order again. You’ll probably want to though – it’s easy bro!
If you’re like me and find it hard to come up with new meal ideas or the energy to cook, you may be in the market for some help. At the very least, do some more research; check out Eat Clean Bro’s menu and delivery map. If you see something you like, give it a try. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
